29th AGM Gallery

The 29th Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Sri Lankan Photographers was ceremonially held at the Auditorium of Cey-Nor Seafood Restaurant, 335/A, D.R. Wijewardana Mawatha, Colombo-10 on the 28th of October 2023.

The new Council of members was appointed with Mr. Denzil Fernando was elected as the President. A new addition to the podium was the Mace of I.S.L.P. to uplift the Institute to another level. At the Ceremonial Sessions, two Honorary Fellowships were bestowed upon Mr.Vajira Jayasanka Wickramage-LISLP & Mr. K.L.S.Fernando-LISLP.

The highlight of the Ceremonial sessions was the speech by Dr.Naomal Perera (Oncological/ General Surgeon). He shared his personal experience on Wildlife and Cinematography. The Council then presented Dr. Naomal Perera with a plaque of appreciation. The Council members were handed over certificates to motivate them for their new role to steer the Institute to a higher level. The Secretary Mr. Mithra Weerakone gave the vote of thanks and concluded the meeting with a fellowship dinner.
